Scams involving the promise of free iPads to “honor” Steve Jobs have hit Facebook, the Better Business Bureau warned.

In fact, the BBB said those promises, which link users to complete a survey, was posted within hours of Jobs’ death Wednesday. more

So, about that new iPhone 5…

New Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the company’s newest model of iPhone — an improved, speedier version of the iPhone 4.

Cook said the iPhone 4S includes an improved camera, faster “4G-like” data capability, and a voice assistance system named “Siri”.

The announcement curtailed an expected radical upgrade that would have been the iPhone 5. Additionally, Sprint became the third U.S. wireless carrier to carry the iPhone. more
