Is your profile safe from the rumored Nov. 5 “Operation Facebook” attack?
The plot coincides with Guy Fawkes Day, named after the British terrorist who unsuccessfully tried to blow up Parliament in 1605.
Fawkes’ story has been retold for centuries and was recently worked into the comic book and movie “V for Vendetta,” which spawned the stylized “Guy Fawkes” masks worn by members of the “Occupy” movement.
Images floating around the Internet also feature the Fawkes mask promoting the Nov. 5 attack. more
