21 arrests at ‘Occupy’ protest in downtown Las Vegas
Authorities said 21 people from the Occupy Las Vegas movement were arrested for obstructing traffic downtown Thursday morning. It marked the first arrests at an “Occupy” demonstration in southern Nevada since the movement began two months ago. more

The plot coincides with Guy Fawkes Day, named after the British terrorist who unsuccessfully tried to blow up Parliament in 1605.
Fawkes’ story has been retold for centuries and was recently worked into the comic book and movie “V for Vendetta,” which spawned the stylized “Guy Fawkes” masks worn by members of the “Occupy” movement.
